Books

Northwind Book & Fiber is a general, independent bookstore, with 10,000 titles across all categories of books. 

We hope to see you in the store where you can browse our titles.  Our staff loves to make recommendations.  If we don't have what you are looking for, we will gladly order it for you.  We offer both store pick-up or delivery directly to your home.

On-Line Search & Ordering 

Customers can now search and order from our web-site.  Use the search function in the upper right corner of every page to look up a title.  You will be able to determine if the book is currently available in the store or is available for order from our wholesale warehouse.  You can place the order on-line to reserve the copy, or to order for store pick-up or direct delivery to your home or any other location.  If you have any questions or problems with our search and order function, please contact us at 715-635-6811 (during store hours) or at northwind@charter.net .

e-Books now available!

You can now buy your e-books through Northwind Book & Fiber, which has an arrangement with Google eBooks.  For most major publishers, the price of an e-Book will be the same, regardless of where you purchase it--so why not buy local!   After setting up accounts with both us and Google eBooks, you will need to return to the our website, www.northwindbook.com, to buy additional eBooks from us.   Visit the Google eBooks page for more information.
