Our new project is the Warm Up America! afghan.  Knit or crochet a 7" x 9" square in worsted-weight acrylic yarn and drop it off at Northwind Book & Fiber.  We will sew the squares together when we have enough for an afghan, which will then be given to a family or individual in need in our community.

You can use any stitch for your pattern. Take this opportunity to try something new.  The Warm Up America! website also has patterns available.  The link is at the left.

Warm up America! started in a Wausau, WI yarn shop in the 1990's and has grown to a nation-wide project.  We are excited to join the effort and provide an afghan to someone in need in the Spooner area.
