RECENT PROJECTS

OPERATION WARM & TOASTY --The Cookie Brigade in Frederic, WI has reached its goal and collected all it needs for wounded soldiers being flown on MEDIVAC from Iraq to Germany.

WARM UP AMERICA! AFGHAN

We've completed this project, collecting enough squares for 4 afghans!  One was donated to the Time Out Abuse Shelter, with offices in Spooner and the shelter in Ladysmith.  Another has been sewn together by the knitter's of Faith Lutheran Church.  We still need two afghans to be sewn together and would love a volunteer or two for this project!   Contact us at northwind@charter.net if you are interested.
